Who has been affected in your life? A mother, sister, co-worker, a friend? This year, more than 200,000 women and men will be diagnosed with breast cancer and nearly
40,000 will lose their lives to the disease.
Several people know what happened to Laura Shepard in 2007. For many of us she became that friend who was affected by breast cancer. Because of Laura, our survivor,
and two other great women - Hope Trahan, who died in 2006 and Barbara Santangelo who died this past April 15th, a team of friends are participating in the Susan G.
Komen 3-Day Walk to raise funds for breast cancer research.
